Dr Kaveet Raniga

Dr Kaveet Raniga is a born and raised Mackay local who is passionate about helping patients achieve a healthy smile that will go the distance. After completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University in 2020, he immediately returned home to Mackay and has been caring for the local community ever since.

Known for his kind and straightforward nature, Dr Kaveet believes that going to the dentist shouldn’t feel intimidating. With a strong desire to make each appointment a positive experience, Dr Kaveet will take the time to understand his patients, helping them to achieve the function, feeling and aesthetics that they want.

Dr Kaveet provides a wide range of general dentistry but has a true love for oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry. Whether it's helping a nervous patient feel at ease, relieving dental pain, or creating a smile that someone can't wait to show off, he enjoys making a genuine difference to people's confidence and quality of life. He enjoys treating patients of all ages and loves to see families.

In his spare time, Dr Kaveet loves staying active, target shooting at the rifle range, painting miniature models or getting lost in a good book
